| 1. Parts & Pricing

Standard repair pricing is based on the use of Premium Aftermarket parts. If OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are specifically requested, additional costs will apply. All prices shown in our booking system are subtotals and do not include applicable sales tax, which will be calculated and added at the time of final payment.

Parts ordered specifically for your repair (including but not limited to OEM components or Rear Glass) are non-refundable. Special orders may incur a restocking fee if the service is canceled after the part has been procured.

| 2. Warranty Coverage

We stand behind our craftsmanship with the following specific protections:

Front Display Replacements: Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Battery Replacements: One-year (12-month) Warranty.

These warranties cover manufacturing defects only (such as touch failure, ghost touching, or defective cells). Coverage is strictly voided by any of the following occurring after the repair: new physical damage (cracks, dents, or internal pressure damage), liquid exposure, or tampering/ opening of the device by any third party or the customer.

| 3. Data Loss & Liability

Electronic repairs carry inherent risks. Tech in Trouble is not liable for data loss. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure a full backup of all personal data prior to the commencement of service. By authorizing repair, you expressly waive any claims for liability regarding data loss or incidental damages resulting from the repair process.

| 4. Liquid Damage Warning

Devices with a history of liquid exposure are inherently unstable. While we attempt repairs on such units, we cannot guarantee long-term reliability. Tech in Trouble is not responsible for further complications, hidden corrosion, or total device failure that may occur during or after the course of repair. We cannot guarantee that original water-resistance ratings will be maintained after service.

| 5. Abandoned Property

Any device left in the possession of Tech in Trouble for more than 30 days following a notification of completion or a request for pickup will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to recycle, strip for parts, or sell abandoned property to recover the costs of parts and labor invested.

| 6. Independent Service Provider

Tech in Trouble is an independent repair facility and is not an authorized Apple service dealer. Service performed by us may void your manufacturer’s original warranty. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
